Stig

Stig Venaas received his cand.scient. degree (M.Sc. equiv.) in mathematics from University of Trondheim in 1993, and has done some research and teaching in Mathematics. He has worked at UNINETT, the Norwegian education and research network, since 2000 and is mainly involved in IPv6 activities. He also holds a position as research fellow at the University of Southampton. He has been working on the 6NET project with multicast as the main focus. He is co-chair for the IPv6 activities in the Terena TF-NGN task force, co-chair of the IETF DHC working group, and a member of the IPv6 Forum Technical Directorate.
