Patrick
Grossetete
Patrick is a Senior Product Manager with the Internet Technologies
Division (ITD) in Cisco Systems where he is responsible for the Cisco
IOS IPv6 and switching infrastructure (CEF) components. He is a member
of the IPv6 Forum Technical Directorate and manages Cisco's
participation in the IPv6 Forum, where Cisco is a founding member. In
1994, he joined the Cisco Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region
as a Consulting Engineer. He was subsequently promoted to Field
Distinguished Engineer - where he worked closely with large Cisco
customers on network designs and new technologies introduction,
particularly in the area of switching technologies.
Prior to joining Cisco, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in
France from 1980 to 1994 in Network Consulting and Post-Sales Support.
He was also involved heavily in the deployment of DECnet/OSI, acquiring
valuable experiences in early IPv6 deployments. Patrick received his
computer degree from the Control Data Research Institute in 1979. |
