Latif Ladid has worked in various
managerial and marketing positions at Nixdorf Computers in
Germany, and Hewlett-Packard in the Middle East, as International
Sales Manager at ComputerLand Europe in Luxembourg, and as
Managing Director of ComputerLand Switzerland. From 1992 to 1998,
he was with the Canadian Internet and internet-working specialist,
DEVELCON, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Business
Development. In 1998, Latif joined
IPv6-pioneer
Telebit Communications A/S as Vice President, Sales EMEA. In June
1999, Ericsson acquired a major share in Telebit, creating
Ericsson Telebit A/S.

Network Development Unit which handles all Ericsson network
infrastructure platforms . He is also on the staff of L.M.Ericsson
Corporate technology for data communications, IP and

Digital Equipment Europe .

Takashi Arano received Master of Science from the University of
Tokyo.
Since 1996, he had lead NTT¡¦s Internet department as a chief
engineer. He designed an initial network of OCN, which is now one
of the biggest Internet providers in Japan. He was also involved
in a wide range of strategic planning
from
peering to M&A.
In August, 2001, he moved to Asia Global Crossing, Ltd as Regional
Director of Service Development & Operations. He is now in charge
of engineering and operations for advanced network services such
as VPN, VoIP and IPv6.
In the last five years, he has contributed to the Internet society
in various ways,by taking positions of Vice Chair of ICANN ASO
Address Council (1999-), Chair of APNIC Address Policy SIG
(2000-), Chair of Y2KCC/JP, Internet Association of Japan
(1999-2000), Vice Chair of JPNIC Steering Committee(1999-), JANOG
meeting chairs(1996-), to name a few..
Regarding IPv6, he is serving as Board member of The IPv6 Forum
(2001-), Chair of IPv6 Deployment Committee of Internet
Association Japan, Chair of Steering Group of Global IPv6 Summit
in Japan (2000-), Editor-in-Chief of the IPv6 Journal, RIIS
(2001-) and so forth.
Recently, he proposed a new IPv6 address allocation and assignment
policy to the Regional Internet Registries which is to replace the
current provisional policy and is now on their decision process.
One of his current interests is in how to develop the IPv6
Internet much practically ; and he has formed IPv6 Operation Study
Group in Japan and has studied varieties of operational issues
such as IPv6 routing, IPv6 enterprise network etc.

Kosuke Ito
received Master of Science from the school of Engineering,
Stanford University, in Aeronautics and Astronautics, 1993. He
joined Canon Inc. '93 and being involved in the strategic planning
of world-wide R&D and the new business development. At current,
Kosuke is being involved in the base strategic planning and the
Global IPv6 address policy development at IPv6 Promotion Council
of Japan as a researcher of Keio University SFC Research
Institute. Also, he has been a member of IP Committee of JPNIC
since 2000, a member of IPv6 Deployment Committee of Internet
Association of Japan since 2001, and was a member of both
Execution Committee and Program Committee of the Global IPv6
Summit in Japan 2001.
